AFCON 2017: GHANA DRAWS UGANDA, MALI AND EGYPT

The Senior National Soccer Team, the Black Stars have been handed a rather tricky group after being drawn in Group D that comprises of AFCON heavyweight Egypt, Mali and Uganda.

The Black Stars’ campaign to win their fifth continental showpiece will kick-off with an opener against the Cranes of Uganda on 17th January 2017, after they will face the Eagles of Mali (21st January) and the Pharaohs of Egypt (25th January) respectively.

The tournament which starts on the 14th of January 2017 will see 16 African Nations including host nation Gabon vying for the ultimate gold trophy.
