Ghana would play in Group G of the 2014 FIFA World Cup slated for Brazil.
They have been drawn together with Germany, Portugal and the United States in the first round of next year’s World Cup.
The draw, made at Costa do Sauipe in Bahia yesterday afternoon, appears to have given Africa some tough opposition.
Ghana would be facing Germany again after both teams were paired in the same group at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The Black Stars will also meet familiar opponents, the United States, who have also been drawn into their group and also face CR7’s Portugal.
With the exception of Portugal, all three teams were all in the same group at the previous tournament in South Africa.
Hosts, Brazil will open the tournament against Croatia in Group A.
