Ghana beat South Africa 2-1 in their last group C match at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2015 to qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition.

Goals from John Boye and Andre Dede Ayew saw the Black Stars rally from a goal down at half time to record the victory.

It was Ghana’s first ever victory over South Africa at any competitive game and ensured that Ghana topped the group, where they will meet the runner up in group D on the 1st of February, 2015.
