The Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has assured FC Barcelona of Ghana’s preparedness to provide every needed support in their bid to establish partnership and invest in soccer in the country.
Hon Asiamah made these remarks when a five member delegation led by the Vice chairman of the Barcelona FC Board Paul Villa and the Director of the famous Barca Academy Franc Carbo called on the Minister at his office.
Hon. Asiamah reiterated that Ghana has abundance of young ambitious soccer talents that would be at their disposal for development.
“Ghana has everything. We have the human resource, we are hardworking, honest, hospitable people, and we also have an increasing pool of ambitious youth”, adding that he is ready to provide them with any assistance required to ensure that the delegation return to Ghana.
The delegation is expected to present it’s findings to the FC Barcelona Board for scrutiny before returning to Accra on an unconfirmed date.
