The Ghana Football Association ( GFA) has formally introduced Mr Kwesi Appiah as the newly appointed coach of the Senior National Soccer Team to the Minister, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah.

The Minister congratulated him and assured him of the needed Government’s support for him to succeed.

Hon. Asiamah urged Mr Appiah to be assertive, firm and fair and trusted him to improve the Ghana Premier League by giving chance to the home-based players.

Hon. Kwame Asiamah was hopeful that with majority of Ghanaians in support of his appointment, the coach would be able to win back the support of Ghanaians which has gone down for the Black Stars

Present during the Meeting are the Deputy Minister Mr. Pius Enam Hadzide, The Chief Director of the Ministry Mr Frank Quist, the GFA President Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi and his Vice Mr. George Afriyie.
