The wife of the President elect of Liberia, Mrs. Clar Marie Weah has commended the Youth and Sports Ministry for vigorously pursuing youth policies that had seen the National Youth Authority (NYA) implement various youth programmes all in a bid to harness the capacities of Ghana’s teeming youth.
In view of this, Mrs. Weah said Ghana continue to be a shining example for the rest of Africa to emulate from. Mrs. Weah made these observations when she called on the Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah in Accra.
Mrs. Weah was in Ghana to receive on behalf of her husband (President elect George Weah) a platinum award during the Aiteo CAF awards.
With Ghana – Liberia bilateral relations still blossoming, Mrs. Weah said her country would tap into the experience of Ghana’s youth development initiatives, as Liberia prepare to embrace a new dawn under the leadership of President elect George Oppong Weah.
Welcoming the soon to be First Lady of Liberia, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah congratulated her and the President elect for the opportunity to lead the people of Liberia. The Minister was very hopeful that the election of Mr. Weah would ultimately bring a sense of renewed hope and patriotism among the Liberian people.
