The sector Minister Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah today inaugurated the Committees for International Games and Competitions as well as the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the 2019 International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF) to be hosted in Ghana from
1st to 5th April and from 7th to 13th April 2019 respectively.

Members of the International Games and Competitions Committee will be responsible for the overall planning of Ghana’s preparations and participation for all International Games and Competitions.

The Committee is also to advise the sector Ministry on all requests from the sports Federations desiring to host local, International and or bilateral competitions.

The Committee, which is chaired by Prof. Peter Twumasi, Director-General, National Sports Authority (NSA) also include Mr. Emmanuel Oteng, Chief Accountant, MOYS, Mr. Yaw E. Kutor, Director RSIM, MOYS , Dr. Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah, Technical Advisor (Sports) and Mr. Magnus RexDanquah, Sports Business Consultant.

The rests are Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah, President Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), Rev. Richmond Rexford Quarcoo, Chef de Mission (GOC), Mr. Richard Akpokavie, Secretary General (GOC), Mr. Salisu Omaru, Accountant, (NSA) and Mr. George Owusu Ansah.

The LOC for the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and the Africa Table Tennis Federation (ATTF) Junior Circuit & Cadet Open Competitions are also charged with the responsibility of hosting and organizing the event in collaboration with the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA).

The LOC has the Director-General of the NSA, Prof. Peter Twumasi as the chairman.

The rest are Mr. Mawuko Afadzinu, Mr. Ken Ashigbey, Mad. Oforiwaa Owusu Agyei, Dr. Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah, Technical Advisor (Sports), Mr. Magnus RexDanquah, Sports Business Consultant

The others are Anthony Owusu Ansah, National Table Tennis Chief Coach, Mr. Clarence Amoateng, Mr. Samuel Aryee, and Mr. Jason Onyame.
