Executives of the Ghana Deaf Sports federation on Friday, April 26, 2019 paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Curtis Perry Okudzeto.

The federation led by its Vice President; Mr. Kingsley Kweku Nkansah Asah used the opportunity to highlight various activities embarked on by the federation since the year began.

According to the federation, Ghana is set to host the 1st Africa deaf volleyball competition in July, an event which will give more prominence to the activities of the federation. The deaf sports federation will also embark on an exchange program with their counterparts in France to exchange ideas and skills.

On his Part, the Deputy Minister urged the executives of the federation to be diligent in the discharge of their duties and indicated the readiness of the Ministry to offer them the needed support.

Present at the meeting was the Chief Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Frank Quist and other executives of the federation.
