Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah (MP) has paid a courtesy call on the Overlord of Yendi, Ya-Na Abukari Mahama II at the Gbewaa Palace as part of his inspection tour to the Youth Resource Centre construction site at Yendi in the Northern Region.

The Minister reiterated that the Akufo-Addo led administration is doing everything possible to unearth grassroots talents by providing the needed infrastructure for youth and sports development.

Hon. Asiamah commended the site engineer for the progress of work and urged its continuation to meet the completion date.

“I am very much impressed, your dedication and zeal towards this project is one that cannot be overlooked on anyday”, the Sector Minister added.

Hon. Hammed Abubakari Yussif, the Municipal Chief Executive(MCE) expressed his gratitude to Government for the project which will enhance sporting activities in the region.

“Yendi has produced great talents such as the Legendary Black Stars goalkeeper, Abubakari Damba. I know for sure that the provision of this facility will go a long way to harness talents for our country.” He noted.
