On Thursday July 15, 2021, the Ministry of youth and sports held a dinner reception for the Malawian delegation who had come for a study tour of the Ministry’s programs and activities earlier in the week. The reception was held at the Labadi beach Hotel to socialise and bid the delegation goodbye after their study tour.
During the reception, the Deputy Minister of youth and sports, Hon Evans Opoku Bobie on behalf of the sector Minister, Hon Mustapha Ussif thanked the delegation for having confidence in Ghana’s youth system.
He noted that the Ministry operates an open door policy and the idea of learning from each others experiences cannot be overemphasized.
He called for a more closer collaboration among the two  Ministries to have frequent deliberations that will help transform the youth of their respective countries adding that the visit will be replicated at the appropriate time for more engagements.
The Minister of youth and sports of Malawi, Hon Ulemu Msungama was overwhelmed with the outpour of love and warm reception received from his Ghanaian counterparts and expressed his profound gratitude for the kind gesture.

The Malawian team were decorated with traditional smock as a way of showcasing Ghana’s culture. Present at the event was the Chief Director of the Ministry, Alhaji Hafiz Adam and some staff members.
