On Wednesday September 15, 2021, the Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Evans Opoku- Bobie joined the Minister for Communication and Digitilization, Hon Ursula Owusu-Ekuful in the Western North Region to award students who excelled in the ICT competition from selected Districts of the Region in the “International girls in ICT” programme.

“International Girls in ICT” is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Communications and Digitilization which is aimed at introducing young girls to various ICT programs and also to encourage them to consider careers in the growing field of ICT.

The Ministry of youth and sports has keen interest in the development of the youth and supports the initiative to equip the young girls with ICT skills.
