The Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif (MP) represented the Government yesterday at the residence of the European Union’s Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Irchad Ramiandrasoa Razaaly, for the commemoration of this year’s Europe Day.
The Second Lady, H. E. Samira Bawumia, the Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Minister for National Security, Hon. Albert Kan-Dapaah, Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Asamoah Boateng, and other Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and members of the Diplomatic Corp were among dignitaries present.
The Minister of Youth and Sports acknowledged the EU’s contributions to numerous sectors of our economy, such as trade, health, sports, and youth development. He also called for a stronger partnership, for mutual benefits, between the EU and our country.
